WELCOME! Let's get straight to it!

I'm not one for messing around. I've spent a lot of my life looking in my mirror and thinking... OMG... and wishing, wiiiishing I could have a more toned and slender body.* So here I am, for you and for myself, posting fitness, diet help and injury recovery.**

Some background information:
I'm a 21 year old British female, living it light on Englands sunny North East coast (sarcasm guys) with my family and 2 cats, I am currently 207lb, 5'6" and unhappy with those figures, I aim to be 140lb, 5'6" and HAPPY! I am also massively allergic to peanuts, so I'll be posting up vegetarian options for those like me who are unable to eat peanuts :)

Our first recipie!

The Sludge Monster!

He won't win any beauty awards, but for a complete meal replacement at only 330 calories per 250ml, are we bothered?
ALLERGY INFORATION, CONTAINS ALMOND BUTTER!!!***
Here is what you need:
A Blender...
5 large strawberries chopped,
1 cup of blueberries
1 peach
1 granny smith apple
5 large raspberries
A handful of raw spinach
3 tsp almond butter***
2 cups filtered water
2 tsp honey (or vegan alternative)
BLEND IT INTO OBLIVION!!! MUAHHAHA... ha... sorry.

It is a sludgy colour, it is a sludgy consistancy, however, that's due to the almond butter and other colours in the fruits used, It still tastes sweet and like apple and blueberries! I'd like to note, only one of these a day, don't replace EVERY meal with a sludge monster.

*I am not, and will NEVER advocate "thinspo" or "proana" ANYTHING! It is harmful for the body and not a good or sustainable way to lose weight. I am here to advocate a healthier, fit way of life. I have had an eating disorder before and was treated for it and now I know how much harm I did to myself, now I am trying to loose weight the healthy way. Thank you.

**I am an ex-student nurse, I understand now how the body works in recovery and having treated many sports players, I am (I think) quite qualified to give advice, HOWEVER, if in doubt ALWAYS seek a qualified Drs opinion, I am not claiming to know everything, just enough to treat the minor stuff!

***If you are alllergic to almonds/all nuts and want to do this, replace that with 3 small tsp of your chosen protein powder :)
